Initial Consultation Required 

An initial consultation is required to find out if you are a candidate for Acupuncture. If you are determined to be a candidate, we can perform your first procedure the same day.

What to expect with acupuncture

Quick & Painless

The procedure is quick and painless, you're in and out of the office in 30 minutes.

Treatment Course

The number of procedures you will need will vary based on your specific condition, the amount of time you've had it, etc.

Accurate Evaluation

Once you are evaluated, the doctor will analyze your presentation and give you an estimate of the number of treatments likely needed based on clinically evidence based data.

Process

The acupuncture process is repeated 2-5 times a week until maximum improvement is seen. Then a maintenance regimen is often prescribed to prevent recurrence. Maintenance may be as little as 1-2 times per month.

Absence Of Symptoms

Acupuncture can and often results in a complete absence of symptoms, even in severe pain conditions that have been present for years.

How Many Acupuncture Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatments needed differs from person to person. For complex or long-standing conditions, one or two treatments a week for several months may be recommended. For acute problems, usually fewer visits are required, and for health maintenance, we recommend monthly tune ups.

Does Acupuncture Hurt?

No. It’s very comfortable. Most people end up taking a nap during their treatment and leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Is Acupuncture Covered By Insurance?

Health insurance will only cover pain related issues that patients may be experiencing.

We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Not all BCBS policies cover acupuncture so we are happy to check you policy for coverage information.
